Message Traffic Training Class

The Lexington County Amateur Radio Emergency Service Group is hosting a Message Traffic training class,  and you are cordially invited to join us. The training class will be on Saturday, May 25th, 2019 from 9am to 11am,  at the Lexington County Public Library. The Library is located at: 5440 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29072.
Our guest instructor will be: George Bowers, WF2Y, fellow ARES Member, NCS and Net Manager for the South Carolina Single Side Band Net, 3.915mHz. Mr Bowers will instruct us on the ARRL Radiogram, along with guidance on receiving and sending message traffic.
During an emergency or activation, the ability to accurately handle message traffic will be an essential skill for ARES members. Join us for our training class and learn more about the ARRL Radiogram, message traffic handling along with an opportunity ask any questions you may have.
